It's a new year and it's time for a challenge!

We're kicking off 2016 with a fabulous new blog feature!

What is POW you may ask? POW - Problem of the Week - is a way to challenge our Math brains outside of the classroom when we're looking for something fun to fill our evenings! Weehoo!

To take part in this incredible Math opportunity, we are teaming up with the super-fab Mr. Bodnar who is also challenging his students to think about Math long after the 3:43 bell rings.

Each week, a new POW will be posted and we will have until Friday to solve and submit our work (to Mme Careen). We may print the problem, complete it (IN PENCIL!) and hand it in. Or, we may choose to save the file, complete it electronically and email it in. Either way, all completed problems will be corrected and all students who correctly solve the POW will start working their way towards some pretty neat and sweet prizes!
